The Rockwall County Historical Foundation, maintaining that the past should be preserved for the future, encourages the restoration, education and recognition of significant places and people, thus allowing all to enjoy the treasure that is our past.

The Museum

The Museum is housed in the historical 1850 Manson-LaMoreaux-Hartman House located on Washington Street at Harry Myers Park. The building built by Watson B. Bowles in 1850 is the first permanent structure built in the City Rockwall.
